2. Do I need a background in trucking or recruiting?

No experience is needed! Our training covers all the trucking industry basics, recruiting techniques, and tools you’ll use daily.

3. Is this a remote position?

Yes, it’s 100% remote. You can work from home using a phone and computer.

4. What are the hours like?

Hours are flexible. Most coordinators work during regular business hours, but evening or weekend outreach can help you reach more drivers faster.

5. How do I get paid?

As a Recruiter Coordinator with Drivers Direct, you’re paid as a 1099 independent contractor, which means you have full control over your schedule and earning potential.

Here’s how payment works:

💰 Pay Structure:

$4 per completed phone screen

$200 per successfully hired driver

📅 Payout Schedule:

We pay out bi-weekly (every two weeks) for all completed phone screens and confirmed hires during the pay period.

🏦 Payment Method:

Payments are sent via direct deposit to the bank account you provide after successful completion of training.

6. What skills are important for this role?

Good communication, time management, organization, and a willingness to follow structured processes are key. Comfort with outbound calling is also important.

7. What tools or platforms will I use?

You’ll use Google Workspace, phone systems, tracking tools, and sites like FMCSA’s SAFER Web to verify driver experience.

8. What is the onboarding process like?

You’ll complete a self-paced training program with live support, group coaching, and unlimited mentorship as you start placing drivers.

9. How long does training take?

Training usually takes 1–2 weeks to complete, and you can go at your own pace. Support continues even after training ends.

10. What kind of drivers will I be working with?

You’ll work primarily with Class A CDL drivers, including company drivers, lease purchase drivers, and owner-operators.

11. Can I do this part-time?

Yes, many people start part-time and scale up as they gain more experience and success.

12. Is there room for growth?

Absolutely! You can grow into senior roles, manage teams, or become a licensed recruiter under our training model.
